Halloween Happenings at Fred Astaire

Thursday, October 27, 2011 – Upper Montclair, NJ - Looking for a preternatural grown-persons party to parade your phenomenal Halloween costume!  Come to Fred Astaire of Upper Montclair on October 27!

At  7:30 we’ll have our Costumed Halloween Zumba® Fitness Class, followed by a Free Introductory Ballroom Class @ 8:30 PM for the “two-left-feet” zombies who’re looking to spiff up their “impress-the chicks-and-dudes” dance moves.

Then at 9:15 pm,  Eat, Drink and Be Scary with the staff and students of Fred Astaire, where we’ll bust a move to great tunes and show-off our swanky new dance moves.  $100 Cash prize for best costume.  

         Or, if you like to sit and watch, but have a flair for the artistic, you can enter our Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest.  Carve the image of Fred Astaire, our logo, dancing couples or any ballroom dancing themed image into a pumpkin and enter it in our PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST.  All entrants will be posted on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/uppermontclairfredastaire and displayed at the studio during the party.  Bring your pumpkin in before the party on October 27.  The pumpkin with the most votes will win a gift certificate for a free private lesson and a free group class!
